Rolling wooded terrain makes Fairlawn’s 18-hole, 6,256-yard golf course one of the most beautiful and challenging in this part of the country. Winding creeks, deep ravines and lush fairways are the setting for Fairlawn’s expert golf program of regular play and festive social events.

Hole Description
The first hole is an excellent hole to begin your Fairlawn golf experience. Unable to see the green from the tee, golfers drive to the top of a rise from which the green becomes visible. An accurate second shot from the hillside places the ball on the green, which slopes to the left, offering a critical putting experience.

Practice Area

Fairlawn is supporting our golfing members with a totally new practice facility and driving range. Additionally, our club’s professional staff is always there to provide advice and lessons in any aspect of the sport, offering individual and group lessons as well as a popular youth program. Members of our junior program recently placed fourth in the National PGA Junior League Championships.

Stock Up At Our Golf Shop

Our well-stocked Golf Shop, awarded Merchandiser of the Year by the Northeastern Ohio PGA, offers that something special, including custom orders and gift items. New golf clubs can be ordered at our Golf Shop and our professional staff will provide guidance for a proper fit. From golf bags and shoes to the latest in golf fashion, our Golf Shop is equipped to get you ready for a great day on the course.

Tournament Play

Play begins with an Opening Day Tournament in the Spring and continues throughout the season with the Kerby Derby, Green Coat Tournament, Frank Warton Open and the Ryder Cup. The Glen, a three-day member-guest match, highlights the golf season.

Guest Information

Dress Code

All golfers at Fairlawn Country Club are requested to dress in proper attire. For men, this is defined as golf slacks, collared shirts, turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks, knee-length shorts or knickers. For women, golf slacks, skirts or Bermuda shorts with an appropriate top are proper attire.

Golf Outings
