Fairlawn Country Club's five outdoor tennis courts are the site of many exciting tournaments and events throughout the tennis season. Because of the sport's intense popularity among members and guests, we added new lighted Har-Tru clay courts in 1976 and 1987, and completely rebuilt the club's existing courts in 1992. In 1990 the completion of the Half Way House provided both tennis players and golfers a facility to grab a bite to eat before, during, or after play.

Tennis season officially begins with our annual Tennis Opening Day Mixer in May, and culminates with club championships in September. Season play includes regular singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches, in addition to exciting interclub team matches and tournaments. Member and Member/Guest tourneys feature special luncheons, dinner and a cocktail party for participants to enjoy following tournament play.

Fairlawn's many junior tennis enthusiasts actively participate in interclub team matches, clinics and parent/child tournaments. Children or adults wishing to improve their game can choose from private or group lessons taught by our tennis professional, Shaun Keenan.
